The secret is out: I’m the prophesied scourge, and according to the Legacy Council, my quintet and I must be hunted down and destroyed immediately.

With the size of the bounty they’ve put on our heads, there’s no telling who we can trust. Going on the run feels cowardly, but it’s necessary. We need time to regroup so I can move on to the next step of my plan to free the humans trapped in the Nether.

We also have to figure out how I’m being mysteriously bound to each of my matches. It should be impossible, yet the more we bond against all odds, the more powerful I feel.

Getting closer to them feels so good. No matter what my inevitable fate holds, they make it worth it.

But all this newfound power from bonding is doing something to the shadow heart in my chest—strengthening my link to the Entity and putting my quintet in even more danger.
